Jackie – I think I took each storyline separately – I didn’t really expect them to converge – and even though the siege wasn’t over, each one of them had wrestled with somethin within themselves and come to a conclusion of sorts. But yes, it wasn’t your typical story-arc novel. I agree – the writing was amazing!
