Wow at the giveaways! Great links! I’m off to check some of these out now :)

    Hi Carrie,
You asked me if I had read “Pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follett. Yes I did. I really liked it. But I really like those kind of books. I like the history from that time period. And yes it is a long book, but so rich in history and Follett is very descriptive in his writing. Thanks for stopping by my place. Have a great evening!

Ladytink – good luck with the giveaways!

Sherrie – thanks for stopping by and answering my question. I think I’ll add it to my to-read list.

  4. Thanks for posting links to my giveaways! I appreciate it.

  5. CarrieK says:

    Serena – you’re welcome!

  6. Sandy says:

Pillars of the Earth is one of my favorite reads of all time! I was reading it while working in and around London. On the weekends, my colleagues and I would wander the little towns and check out the huge cathedrals, which even made the book more special! World Without End, its sequel, is phenomenal too (read it on audio!)

  7. CarrieK says:

Sandy – Okay, now I’m truly convinced – I’ll have to see if the library has it on audio.

  8. Beth F says:

Super list of links! Great job. Pillars is a great audiobook! I could hardly stop listening.

  9. CarrieK says:

Beth – I put the audiobook on hold at my library! :)
