1. Mention who tagged you.
2. List six unimportant things that make you happy.
3. Tag six more blogs, then go and comment on their blogs. Let them know that they have been challenged, and invite them to play along.
Six of my favorite things:
~ Coffee. Now, I know that some of you would argue that coffee is anything but unimportant, but I can really get along without it. I have had to switch to decaf anyway, so it’s not like I’m addicted to the caffeine rush. I just love the flavor, and I love to sit down with a book or my laptop and a good cup of coffee – preferrably a Starbucks grande decaf Caramel Macchiato, if I have some extra cash.
~ Watching a funny movie with my husband. I love it when something funny catches him off-guard, and he’ll laugh so hard that he has to wipe tears out of his eyes.
~ Sleeping in. I don’t need to sleep in, but I love it when I can. This past weekend was busy, so it’s been a while since I woke up without the alarm clock.
~ Finishing books on my challenge lists. Finishing a book always makes me happy (and actually, I don’t consider it unimportant), but when I can strike through one of the titles on a challenge list, it feels like a major accomplishment.
~ Great TV shows. I can – and have – gotten by without TV before, but when I find a show I really love, it makes me happy. Currently, I”m loving Castle, and if it gets cancelled I may have to send a very nasty e-mail to ABC.
~ Blog comments. I could lie and say I’d blog anyway, even if none of you ever commented, but those of you who also blog wouldn’t believe me. 🙂 I love checking my e-mail in the morning and finding all the lovely messages you left for me – it gives me a great start to my day.
Speaking of comments, I’m tagging six bloggers who have recently commented here and are new to me:
Heather at What Was I Reading?
Jess at Find the Time to Read
Jenny at Jenny Loves to Read
Debnance at Readerbuzz
Deanna at Mom Musings
Gautami at Everything Distills Into Reading – of course, Gautami isn’t new to me, but her blog is new, so I thought she could help break it in with a tag. 🙂
