Justice Hall by Laurie R. King
Two distinct patches of shot were embedded in the rubbery skin. One followed the upper edge and tip of the right wing; the other, the shot that actually killed it, formed a cluster along the left side of the head and body.

I’m at the ducal manor Justice Hall with my husband, Sherlock Holmes. We are there visiting the Duke, who we knew as Mahmoud, an Arab Bedouin, when we were undercover in the Holy Land five years previously. (Justice Hall)
I’m also in Trenton, New Jersey, trying to figure out why Ranger, my bounty hunter mentor, is now the one running from the law. (Hot Six, Janet Evanovich)

Ah, I see you are on a break from Claire and Jamie. I’m tempted to do the same…I’ve got To Kill a Mockingbird on audio and its patiently sitting there waiting to be loved.
That is a great teaser!
Here is my post
I am just about to start reading the first one in King’s series, The Beekeper’s Apprentice and I am very excited to see if these books are really that good.

Sandy – yes, when I finished reading High Five, and it ended with Stephanie calling one of the men in her life to come over – but it didn’t say whether it was Range or Joe – I had to know! So, I finished disc 14 of Drums of Autumn, and then started Hot Six. It’s only 8 discs, so it won’t take long, and then I’ll get back to Jamie and Claire.
Gautami – I’ll be sure to check yours out.
Lilly – I hope you like it – it’s one of my favorite series.
Forget the Sherlock Holmes story. I’d rather think about the adventures of Stephanie and Ranger AND Morelli. LOL!!
Gosh I still have 12, 13, 14 to read for Stephanie Plum’s Series… I miss Ranger & Morelli!
Sherlock Holmes was married??
