Sookie Stackhouse Reading Challenge
Posted By CarrieK on June 24, 2009
I know, I know – I’m addicted. In my defense, though, this challenge lasts an entire year, and it’s only nine books, so I think it’s doable. Now, the Twilight saga is the only vampire fiction I’ve ever read, so I reserve the right to drop out if I really don’t like these books. But from the reviews I’ve read, I think I will.
The Sookie Stackhouse Reading Challenge, which is being hosted by Beth Fish Reads is to read all nine books in Charlaine Harris’s Sookie Stackhouse series. The books in order are:
Dead Until Dark
Living Dead in Dallas
Club Dead
Dead to the World
Dead as a Doornail
Definitely Dead
All Together Dead
From Dead to Worse
Dead and Gone
The challenge lasts from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 – a whole year. Click over to the challenge post and sign up so we can be challenge-a-holics together.

YAY!!!! So glad you are joining in. This is going to be fun.
I’m glad you signed up. We can have fun with this one together!
Yay!!!!
Good luck! I’m doing this challenge too.
I’m doing this challenge too! I think we’ll have fun!
Oooo! I have to go to the library this week, and they should have two of these I haven’t read yet.
I’m signed up for this one too! So happy to see you on board, and I think we’ll all be having a great time on Twitter with this one, too.
By the way, I just tagged you: State of My TBR
Good luck with the challenge! I hope you like the books. I’m on the third book now and there are a lot of similarities to Twilight, though I think this series is much better!
Thanks for the encouragement, everyone! You know you’re just a bunch of reading challenge pushers, right? I can blame my addiction on all of you, can’t I?
Fabulous! I’m doing this challenge too. I’d already read books one and two when I signed on so I have a bit of a head start but like you say nine books in a year should (hopefully) be doable. I hope you enjoy them, I haven’t read Twilight but have enjoyed this series so far.
Michelle – i’d like to think I have enough willpower that I would have said “no” if it was less than a year, but….
