I loved the book, but I think Aprilynne Pikes should make a sequel. Every time I reed it, it was like It kept leaving a chapter out, like the book wasn’t finished when it was so I think there should be a sequel, “hence” I don’t think It should stop where it left off, I think there is still more to come

I remember when Twilight came out and “everyone” talked about what a cheesy, lame, poorly-written book it was. Then, I guess a lot of people still talk about what a cheesy, lame, poorly-written book it is. I also remember when Eclipse and Breaking Dawn basically kept booksellers solvent a couple years running. Oh, and I heard something about a movie?

Krystal, the fact that you read “a lot” may actually make you a very poor judge of what “the typical reader” would enjoy. There are many reasons to read a book, from education and enlightenment to entertainment and a shared cultural experience. To find a book “silly” is clearly a matter of taste, but outside a few exceptional cases, “poorly written” is usually code for anti-commercial snobbery.

Not everyone is a librarian, and not everyone reads to critique. Some of us read because we enjoy the experience, and enjoy sharing that experience, and don’t want to poison the experience by lording our superior taste over others.
