I am without a book-related post or idea for a post today, so thought I’d do this meme I found at Carol’s Notebook.
1. Do you like blue cheese? Yes – it’s my salad dressing of choice.
2. Have you ever been drunk? Yes, but not since my 21st birthday, which was 16 years ago.
3. Do you own a gun? I don’t personally, but my husband has a hunting rifle.
4. What flavor of Kool Aid was your favorite? Grape.
5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? Yes, most of the time.
6. What do you think of hot dogs? I’m with Carol on this one – I like them grilled or cooked over a fire.
7. Favorite Christmas movie? White Christmas and Meet Me in St. Louis.
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Coffee with cream, no sugar.
9. Can you do push ups? Bwahahahahaha…..
10. What’s your favorite piece of jewelry? I’m not a jewelry person. My wedding and engagement set.
11. Favorite hobby? Reading, blogging.
12. Do you have A.D.D.? No.
13. What’s your favorite shoe? Whatever’s comfortable.
14. Middle name? Eileen.
15. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment? Is it wrong for me to think Zac Efron is hot, when I’m almost twice his age? Why did this weekend go by so fast? I’m going to hate going to workout at 5:30 in the morning when it’s only 20 degrees out.
16. Name 3 drinks you regularly drink? Water, coffee, wine.
17. Current worry? Finances.
18. Current hate right now? Finances.
19. Dum da dum dummmm what is that? That particular rhythm reminds me of one of the kids’ grammar rhymes: A prep, prep, preposition is a special group of words…
20. How did you bring in the new year? We were sleeping – didn’t make it till midnight.
21. Where would you like to go? England, Ireland, Scotland.
22. Name three people who will complete this? Not sure.
23. Do you own slippers? Yes, and it’s about time to bring them out.
24. What color shirt are you wearing right now? Lavender.
25. Do you like sleeping on Satin sheets? Never have.
26. Can you whistle? Yes.
27. Favorite color? Same as Carol: purple.
28. Would you be a pirate? No, I like personal hygiene too much.
29. What songs do you sing in the shower? I don’t usually sing in the shower anymore because the rest of the family is still asleep.
30. Favorite Girl’s Name? Natalie – that’s my daughter’s name.
31. Favorite boy’s name? Connor. Wanted to use it for one of our kids, but Kevin didn’t like it.
32. What’s in your pocket right now? Nothing.
33. Last thing that made you laugh? The movie 17 Again.
34. Best bed sheets as a child? I don’t remember specific sheets.
35. Worst injury you’ve ever had as a child? I was an indoor child and a reader – so no major injuries.
36. Do you love where you live? Yes, I do right now. But ask me again in the middle of the winter – especially if we have record snowfall like last year.
37. Revenge of the Nerds or Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Neither – Some Kind of Wonderful.
38. Who is your loudest friend? I don’t have any particularly loud friends.
39. How many dogs do you have? None.
40. Does someone have a crush on you? Well, I sure hope Kevin still does.
41. What is your favorite book? Too many to list.
42. What is your favorite candy? Peanut M&Ms.
43. Favorite Sports Team? Seattle Seahawks.
44. What song do you want played at your funeral? Great Is Thy Faithfulness.

Wendy – I definitely missed out on the stereotypical female obsession with shoes. I usually only own three or four pair at a time – and I hate shoe shopping!
I was surprised by how much I liked 17 again…it was very funny…and I am going to have to say the Zac thing is ok…I thought I was alone:) White Christmas is THE best Christmas movie but I haven’t seen Meet Me…I’ll have to check it out.
