I reallyl enjoy a good memoir and this sounds quite good based on your review. You should google the author if you want to find out what happened to them. I am glad there’s a lot of accurate setting information too. there’s nothing more annoying when that’s off, but in a memoir you’d hope people remember!

It sounds like a positively beautiful read! Because it IS a memoir, I wonder if there is any info about the couple out there on the internet? Often when I read a true story, I will go on a hunt for more information, as you can become so invested in their story.

Sounds like a really good read, I love memoirs. I don’t think I would have ever picked this up on my own so I’m glad I read your review.
