And another one (or two) bites the dust

That sound you hear is me drop-kicking two more reading challenges into the horizon. I’m a bit bummed because I thought I was all set to complete the Classics Challenge – I finished The House of Mirth today, I’m halfway through Wives and Daughters, and I can read Persuasion in a few days. So all set to finish by the end of the year – only the challenge ended on October 31st. Oops.
Also, the Art History Challenge isn’t happening. I wanted it to – I still plan on reading all of the books on my list – but no way is it going to happen by the end of the year. Oh, well – it was fun trying!
And another one’s gone, and another one’s gone, and another one bites the dust…

You get an A for effort since you came so close on the Classics challenge.
Kathy´s last blog ..Green Books Campaign Review: I Have My Mother’s Eyes
Kathy – thanks – I’ll take it!
For some reason, I had it in my head that the classics challenge ended in December, too. Luckily, I realized my mistake in time and posted the final review with one day to spare! Kathy is right – you get an A for effort though.
Can’t wait to hear what you think about Wives and Daughters.
JoAnn´s last blog ..Teaser Tuesdays – November 10
JoAnn – good for you for getting it done on time! Still making progress on Wives and Daughters, but reading other stuff too, so it will be a while.
I’m going to have to drop World Citizen, I’ll make Art History, but just barely. Luckily, 100 Shots of Short doesn’t have a timeline. Note to self, the ones without timelines feel pretty good come November!
Kim´s last blog ..Green Books Campaign – 100 Bloggers for 100 Books PLUS a Giveaway!!
Kim – I know – I’m liking the challenges without a deadline, too!
I’ve always found challenges to be more guidelines than actual requirements haven’t you? Just keep on reading as much as you can and enjoy it

Michelle´s last blog ..Seriespalooza – A Week of Fun!
Michelle – yes, I see them like that, too – otherwise they wouldn’t be fun, they’d be assignments!
