What a great interview, Carrie and Lorelei! I listen to so many audiobooks these days, I’ve really been wondering what goes on “behind the scenes”. Lorelei, I love your Lulu and Grandma Mazur! I was off the Stephanie Plum books for a long while, and it wasn’t until I started listening to them in audio last year that I started liking them again. I don’t think I’ll ever read one in print now, but I’ll always be first in line for Lorelei’s audio version.

Kathy – I love to read aloud to my kids, but I am always in awe of people who can do all the voice, accents, etc – and Lorelei certainly can!

Thank you for sharing, Carrie! I don’t listen to audio books (someday though–if I ever get that iPod I’ve been asking for for Christmas for the last couple of years). I think listening to the Plum novels would be great fun. I enjoyed getting to know more about Lorelei and her work with the Plum novels.

Oh this was an awesome interview! I’ve read all of the Stephanie Plum books in paper, but am so tempted just to check out one of the audios to hear these characters come to life! I already have admiration for this narrator, and I’ve not even heard her. I know a friend of mine, an avid audiobook listener, had to give up on the Kinsey Millhone series (US version) because the narrator drove her nuts. Too bad we can’t get the UK versions! Carrie, in my book, getting this interview was a seriously big deal. Way to go!
