Teaser Tuesdays – December 15, 2009

teaser

For this week’s teasers, I decided to use two of the books I plan to read for Seriespalooza, which is running all week long.

deadandgone
The Dead and the Gone by Susan Beth Pfeffer

“It’s August and I’m wearing my winter coat and gloves and my garden froze to death. And I hate corpses!”

darkness
Darkness Be My Friend by John Marsden

“Run,” I screamed at the others. Sure the adults were a long way away, but a lucky long shot could do as much damage as a close-up easy one.
