My Book Blogger Holiday Swap gift arrived Monday evening. I wanted to post about it immediately, but unfortunately, I am photographically challenged, and I had to take a picture with my daughter’s camera and then wait for her to e-mail it to me.
As you can see, my photo-taking skills leave something to be desired – so I will translate the above picture for you. There were four lovely things in my package:
The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson
A beautiful purple notebook to record my reading in – purple is my favorite color!
A Jane Austen bookmark
A coffee mug featuring women authors like Sylvia Plath, Louisa May Alcott, and Jane Austen
As you can see, my swap partner did an excellent job! I haven’t read The Gargoyle yet, but have read many great reviews and have had it on my to-read list for a while. I used the mug for coffee last night – it’s jumbo-sized, which is perfect. 
Not only did I receive a wonderful gift, but I discovered a wonderful, new-to-me blog. My Secret Santa is Amy from Life by Candlelight. Thank you so much, Amy!
What an awesome Santa! The notebook in particular is so pretty.
