Today’s teaser post finds me in the strange position of being between books. I finished Dragon House and Storm Front yesterday – reviews coming soon – and haven’t had time to start a new book yet. Here are teasers from the two books that are up next.
Looking for Alaska
The Colonel laughed again, and I wondered why he wouldn’t stand up for his girlfriend. I wouldn’t have cared if my girlfriend was a Jaguar-driving Cyclops with a beard – I’d have been grateful just to have someone to make out with.
The Summer We Fell Apart
He needed fresh air. He needed to get out onto the street among other people who surely were as duplicitous as he.

Ash – i really loved the humor in Paper Towns, in spite of the fact that it dealt with such heavy issues. Seems like his sense of humor shines through in this one, too.
