Mailbox Monday – March 1, 2010

mailboxmonday

Mailbox Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Printed Page. If you’re eager to tell the rest of the book blogging world about the wonderful books you’ve received this week, click over and share your link.

miaMia the Magnificent by Eileen Boggess – This is a review copy from a publicist.

ifyoufollow
If You Follow Me by Malena Watrous – This is a review copy for a TLC Book Tour on the 22nd.

These last two are gifts from my friend, Michelle, as a thank you for watching her boys this past weekend. Nothing says thank you like Wendell Berry!

  5. Those look good, Carrie! I actually did bring in two books to my house this week. I bought a copy of Living the Vida Lola by Misa Ramirez, a mystery. It’s only out in hardback right now and I didn’t want to pay full price so I got it used through an online vendor for less than the paperback would cost. I always love it when I can get deals like that. :-) The other’s a review book that looks like it will be good. Next month is the L.A. Times Festival of Books and so it would probably be best if I didn’t buy any more books until then. That’s my unofficial plan as of right now. We’ll see how it goes.

Wendy – I wish I lived in an area that held festivals of books! I’m finally going to get to go to an author event/signing when Jamie Ford comes to Auntie’s Books in Spokane in May. I can’t wait!
