Harvee – I’m not so sure about the casting, though. I’m pretty sure Pattinson can pull it off – after all he proved as Cedric that he can do more than brood and sparkle. But Reese Witherspoon is not what I imagined for Marlena at all. Waltz will be perfectly menacing, I’m sure!

  3. As the Chief of Police for the Sunday Salon Police, I would like to remind you about what the Sunday Salon is, from the main page of the Sunday Salon: “Every Sunday the bloggers participating in that week’s Salon get together–at their separate desks, in their own particular time zones–and read. And blog about their reading. And comment on one another’s blogs. Think of it as an informal, weekly, mini read-a-thon, an excuse to put aside one’s earthly responsibilities and fall into a good book.” The key part of that being reading. So with that in mind, what are you reading today? :)

By the way, I do love the links, though, as if I don’t have enough catching up to do each week (rolling eyes ;) .

UP – oh, if you insist on following the rules… :) I’m currently reading Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz and The Lotus Eaters by Tatjana Soli and I’m listening to The Last Town on Earth by Thomas Mullen on audio.

  4. Those are some great links! I’m not sure how I feel with Reese Witherspoon playing Marlena in Water for Elephants. She isn’t how I pictured the character at all.

Great edition with lots of interesting links. Things have been so crazy lately that it’s been weeks since I’ve had a chance to read through my reader and I’ve already marked all as read twice in the past month or so. So I feel like I have been missing out on a lot of great stuff. Thanks for catching me up this week :)
