More prayers needed

Natalie and I are back down in Spokane at Sacred Heart Hospital – she spiked a fever this morning and her abdominal pain was worse. They did a C/T scan and found an abcess; she’s on heavy-duty antibiotics and morphine for the pain. Will probably drain the abcess tomorrow – but Crohn’s doc is concerned that the scan showed the inflammation has not gone down in the past four weeks, in spite of mega-doses of prednisone.

Would really appreciate prayers – for Natalie’s healing, for peace, for wisdom for doctors. Boys are staying at Michelle’s – thank God for best friends like her – and Kevin has to go in to work tomorrow, then try to get paid for his latest web design job so he can buy and install a new water heater to replace the leaky one. It has been a weekend from you-know-where – why does everything hit at once?
