One more night in the hospital. The docs didn’t want to give Nan the new antibiotic on the same day as her Remicade, since they are pretty harsh on the system. Also didn’t want to give new antibiotics on the day we leave in case of reaction.
So, new antibiotics today, home health nurses will come by tomorrow afternoon and show me how to infuse the antiobiotics into her PIC line at home, and we should get to leave tomorrow afternoon sometime.
Hopefully will be able to post from my own computer tomorrow evening that we are at home, Natalie is resting comfortably, and I have a pomegranate martini in my hand!
