Natalie and I arrived home from the hospital yesterday evening – on Kevin’s birthday.
She is doing extremely well – moving slowly, and a bit sore, but that is to be expected. Best of all, she is eating and her digestive system is working the way it’s supposed to.
Thank you for all your prayers and kind words during this past week – and the entire summer. It has been an extremely difficult season, but things are finally looking up.
I missed Book Blogger Appreciation Week, which is disappointing, but couldn’t be avoided. I had to clear my Google Reader, too, as there was simply no way I could catch up. If I missed anything un-miss-able, please send me a link!
I’m hoping to get back to a normal blogging schedule starting this weekend. I have a bunch of books I finished and will be doing some mini-reviews to get caught up, and will have full reviews of The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff and The Gendarme by Mark T. Mustian soon. I appreciate all the comments I’ve received in the past week. I normally reply to each comment, but I’m going to give myself a free pass this once. I will start replying to comments again soon, and if you left any this past week, please know that each one was a huge encouragement to me!
Our home life is going to become more normal, too, as we will head full-swing into our homeschooling year on Monday. I’m (mostly) ready.
I hope you all had a wonderful BBAW. Enjoy the weekend!

Yay for normality! Welcome home!

Kathy – yes, he was so happy to have us back. The situation was so much more difficult than it would have been if we could have done everything at our local hospital, but it’s too rural. So I was 2 hours away in Spokane with Natalie and he was at home, holding down the fort with the three boys, and trying to work at the same time! He needs a break.
