Author news:

~ Karen Harrington, author of the amazing Janeology, will have a new book out in the spring of 2013!

~ Book eight of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series has a title! Here’s hoping it’s getting closer to a release date, as well. :)

Reviews and blog posts that have me adding to my to-read list:

~ Domestic Violets by Matthew Norman, reviewed by Michelle at That’s What She Read

Book to movie news:

~ Steven Spielberg will produce the film adaptation of Daniel H. Wilson’s Robopocalypse. I didn’t finish the book, as the method of telling the story didn’t work for me, but I think it will make an awesome movie.

Sandy – I was listening to it on audio- it started out well, but the way the story is told is through recorded scenes of the robot uprising and following war – and there seemed to be no coherent main character I could invest in. I gave it two discs, then gave up. But, the story is compelling, so I will definitely be up for the film!
