Anna – Sarah Jio has great luck with her book covers – her new book The Bungalow almost made the cut, too. :)

Great choices! :) I’m constantly intrigued by how much influence a cover can have on my choice of reading material :)

Patti – I am very influenced by a book’s cover! I once put off reading a review book for months simply because I hated the cover. Ended up loving the book, though, when I finally did read it. :)

Wow – gorgeous! I think my favorites of your favorites are Embrace Me and The Map of Time (which reminds me – I have that book in my stacks – must read it!)

Wendy – Both of those (Embrace Me and The Map of Time) have covers that perfectly fit their stories, too.

These are all great, but I am especially drawn to Waiting for Columbus. I love the ocean.

Sandy – the Waiting for Columbus cover perfectly captures the mood of the book, too – the turbulent sea, the gray, cloudy sky. Perfect!

What a fun way to look back over the year! My favorite cover listed is A Discovery of Witches, it’s part of what convinced me to read the book.

When I see all of these covers together I realize why I love book covers so much. They really are works of art!

I love the redness in The Winter Sea. It makes the cover really pop.
