Well, our first week back to school after two weeks off is over. It happened. That’s about all I can say about it. Actually, after a rough couple days, the end of the week smoothed out. And it helps to know we only have 10 weeks left until summer break!
Kevin and I are going through TV withdrawals, as our Wii is at Nintendo for repairs, so no Netflix Watch Instantly. We tried a couple movies, but they were both bust – you’ll hear about them in my next ten-word movie reviews post. We have one disc of Community: Season Two, but I have to use our second disc for Babette’s Feast – remember, we will be discussing it here on the 27th for Film Club!
Last night, we had a Game Night at church – not a great turn-out, numbers-wise, but we still had an absolute blast. First time we have ever played PIT – and I nearly lost my voice! Today is church, then I’m sitting in on the Youth Band practice. After that, I’m hoping to get some reading done, and we’re watching War Horse tonight.
If I do get a chance to read today, here are the books I’ll be spending my time with.
~ The Demi-Monde: Winter by Matt Rees
~ Deadline by Mira Grant
~ The House at Tyneford by Natasha Solomons
~ An Impartial Witness by Charles Todd
~ Plugged by Eoin Colfer
