Julie – I like BSG, too, but can’t picture that casting. :) I’m not sure I’ll be happy with ANY casting – they’ve got a huge job ahead of them!

Ok, seriously. I clearly am missing out. I read the first one and didn’t like it. Maybe I should try again? There was just sooo much love in it and I wanted more of the time-travel story! Ok, ok. I’ll re-read it and then jump to the second in the series. I love what they did with Game of Thrones and I love that series, so I must have missed something!

Natalie – the first one is really heavy on the romance, setting it up, but the further ones are heavier on the history and time travel. Still a lot of romance, but I think you might like the other ones better.

I’m currently reading Outlander for the first time in a read-a-long. I can’t say I’m as in love with it as some, but I’m enjoying it so far. And, now that I’ve read it, news like this is exciting to me! I’m very interested to see how they’ll adapt it.

Sheila – I’m sure it will take them a while – you’ve got time!

I will be curious to see who they cast really. This might mean I will have to read the other books in the series…

Kelly – you’ll have plenty of time, I’m sure it will be a while before it’s actually airing!

I had a very spirited discussion about casting with some strangers in Barnes & Noble a few days ago. People are violently opinionated!!! Especially about Jamie! We don’t get the channel that this would be shown on, but there is always Netflix. I am all hyperventilated.

Sandy – it still isn’t sure which station it will be on – the company who optioned it makes series for HBO, Starz, Showtime – maybe some other networks, too. We don’t have cable or satellite, so will have to wait for DVD, too – but I’m looking forward to dishing over the casting news as it starts to come out!
