I watch a lot of movies, often ones off the beaten path. But I’ve only seen two of these…Life is Beautiful and Cinema Paradiso. Both, which, I should tell you, reduced me to a blubbering mess. If I were an actress and needed to cry on demand, these would be the two movies I would conjure to get tears in less than 5 seconds. And you know, I’m not a huge crier either. So prepare yourself if you haven’t seen them. I’m going to sniff around and see which of these are on streaming.

Where do you get these to see — off Netflix? I’m interested in Mao’s Last Dancer, cheers!

Susan – some are available on streaming on Netflix, the others I request the disc in the mail from Netflix. I hope you can join us for some of our discussions!

This looks like a good mix of films. I’m glad to see Perfect Sense on there. 🙂 I’ve also seen Cinema Paradiso and Mao’s Last Dancer. Both should generate some interesting discussion, I think.

Tasha – I’m very excited to watch Perfect Sense – it looks interesting! And I’m glad we picked some good discussion-starters.
