~ If you saw my Film Club discussion of Another Earth, you saw that my favorite scene in the movie involved the playing of a musical saw. The woman who played the saw for the movie left a comment, and I followed her links to discover her story and some videos of her playing. The sounds made by a musical saw are fascinating and other-worldly and eerily human. Check it out:
