Wow, and I thought my posts were short.
Elf is one of our favorite Christmas movies…of recent years anyway.

Way to summarize the week! I can tell you had one of those weeks, which is pretty much a norm during this time of year. But I can also tell that everything you are involved with is all good.

Have a great week, Laurel-Rain.
It seems like Elf is on the tube constantly now, my husband’s fav. I think we’ve seen it too many times. Luckily we saw Life of Pi last night — like the book – it’s quite interesting.
Susan´s last post ..Two Books in Brief

Susan – the whole family loves Elf! I’m curious to read your thoughts on the Life of Pi movie. I wasn’t a huge fan of the book, unlike just about everyone else.

OOH how is the Book Thief on audio?
Sheila (Book Journey)´s last post ..Morning Meanderings… A Prequel and a Sequel….what are your thoughts about THIS

says:
Sheila – it is AMAZING on audio – the guy who is reading it reminds me a bit of Neil Gaiman.
Love, love, love ELF! There are SO many great one-liners in that movie; they just never get old.
I’m on a Nutcracker Suite kick lately. I can’t get enough of listening to it. ‘Tis the season though, right?
Have a great week!

Michelle – we LOVE the one-liners in Elf! We went to a Santa social on Friday night, and when the fake Santa walked in, my 11-year-old Josiah leaned over to me and said, “He sits on a throne of lies!”
That’s perfect. We tend to mention the four food groups whenever we make pancakes or even mention the word syrup. And when someone is grumpy, they just became a South Pole elf. I really need to watch that movie again this year (I already saw it once).
