Before I share links with you, I have to tell you a bit about one of my current reads. 3500: An Autistic Boy’s Ten-Year Romance with Snow White was written by a friend mine that I used to do theater with in college. I will be doing a full review later, but I will say now that it is a terrific read. You don’t have to simply take my word for it, however, check out what author Cory Doctorow has to say.
Author news:
~ For all of you fellow Maze Runner fans, James Dashner has a new series planned called The Morality Doctrine. The first book, The Eye of Minds will be released in October. You can see the cover here.
~ It seems like I have been waiting forever for Jamie Ford’s second novel! (His first book, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, was brilliant.) Good news – Songs of Willow Frost will be released in September.

The new cover of Annie of Green Gables is awful! It looks like the publisher is trying to get boys to read the series, not girls. Great links!

Sandy – I loved Woodley in The Descendants – I haven’t seen Emma Roberts enough to have an opinion on that one yet.

Great links – I am off to check out the books and so excited to see what books have inspired movies! Not sure I can watch the Downton Abbey clip – is it an actual clip from the show? I am watching Season Three right now and have not seen any of the newer ones…

Marg – I loved that part, too!
That “cover” is hilarious! I’m going to be singing that for the rest of the night. I do love the substitution of “flabbergasted” instead of “overwhelmed”. And the “na na” part? Priceless. Thanks for sharing!
I’m not even going to discuss the new Anne cover. Sacriligeous doesn’t even begin to describe it.
