Reading: Middlemarch by George Eliot; The One I Left Behind by Jennifer McMahon; Obedience by Will Lavender
Listening to: Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter
Wishing: For a better job for Kevin. Don’t get me wrong, we are very grateful that he HAS a job. But he is very frustrated to be working six days a week, doing something he doesn’t enjoy very much, and only making enough for us to barely scrape by.
Missing: My sister Debra, who was here visiting last weekend.
Considering: Whether or not to eat a Weight Watchers ice cream bar.
Planning: A visit with my other sister, Marni, who arrives with her family on Wednesday evening. They will stay through Monday, and then take Josiah back with them to Everett for a week. Not sure I’m ready for my youngest to be gone for a whole week!
Watching lately: We’ve been enjoying the new TNT series King and Maxwell. Also, we watched the first episode of Under the Dome, but I’m not sure if I like it or not; they’ve made some major changes from the book.
Thankful for: 33 pounds lost so far!
