~ None of Natalie’s doctors had nicknames like McDreamy or McSteamy.

~ None of the doctors or nurses gave each other smoldering looks over Natalie’s bed.

~ None of the doctors and nurses discussed their personal life or workplace gossip in front of us.

~ None of the doctors and nurses argued over Natalie’s treatment in front of us.

~ When walking down the hallway, I never came across a doctor and nurse exiting an empty room with lipstick smeared, hair mussed, and clothing askew.

~ I never heard the words “STAT,” “Code Red” or “crash cart” – thank God.

~ Most disappointingly, none of Natalie’s doctors looked like this:

“‘Why am I the only mother whose daughter has a stalker? Isn’t it bad enough my mother is trying to kill the Griever?’”

I crashed around 3:45 last night, slept until 10, and then had breakfast with my hubby. I’m just now getting back to my read-a-thon plans. I plan on a latte later on, probably some more chocolate-covered pretzels, possibly a Skinny Cow Skinny Dipper ice cream bar, and for health’s sake, some almonds and apples.
